How does the label scanner work?
Point your camera at a bourbon or whiskey label and tap Scan Label. The Barrel uses AI to identify the bottle name, distillery, age statement, and proof, then lets you review and confirm the details before saving to your collection.
Can I make my tasting notes private?
Yes. When logging a tasting note, toggle off "Share to community feed" to keep it visible only to you.
How do Tasting Circles work?
Tasting Circles are private groups. Create one and share the invite code with friends, or join a circle using a code someone shares with you. Posts inside a circle are only visible to its members.
Does The Barrel handle trades or payments?
No. The Trade Board only helps you connect with other collectors. Any trade, sale, or exchange is arranged directly between users, at their own discretion and responsibility, in compliance with their local laws.
How do I delete my account or data?
Email us at the address above and we'll help you delete your account and associated data.
How do I report inappropriate content?
Tap the "ยทยทยท" menu on any post or comment and select Report. Our team reviews all reports.
